The “Go To Room”: After dinner casual conversation

“It started as an impulse submission in the Story Summit Children's Story category. It ended with a life-changing experience. My head and my heart are still filled, with the words of the mentors on craft and process, and with the nurturing relationships formed at every opportunity. I have never had an experience resonate so deeply with who I am, and who I am becoming as I continue to put pen to paper. The Story Summit was an experience nonpareil,
deeply and wholly satisfying.”
