10 Ways To Present Yourself To The World

8 to 10 p.m. Eastern (5 to 7 p.m. Pacific)
Specific dates listed below

One of our writers recently reached out to us in a panic. An agent wanted a Zoom meeting on their book proposal. What? Someone wants me? How do I prep? What do I wear? What do I say? Do I need a Zoom light? We guided the writer. We ran some rehearsals.

Three hours after the Zoom session, the agent presented the writer with a contract. Then there were more Zoom meetings with potential publishers. The book went to auction. The auction price was strong. The book will be released by Penguin-Random House this August.

Your success as a writer isn’t only about crafting an incredible story or screenplay. It’s about showing up in a way that's convivial and magnetic so that others who can help your project—editors, publishers, producers, agents, managers—like you so much that they want to have a business relationship with you. And it’s not just in person. It’s on paper. And it’s how the Internet sees you.

We all fret that our Instagram has no followers. Forget about it. You platform is not Instagram. Your platform is the Internet so you can showcase the best of who you are.

Do you have essays? Articles? Photos that make you memorable? 10 Ways to Present Yourself to the World is a fun, interactive, and highly practical course designed to help you stand out and be memorable.

The first session in each of the ten modules is led by an expert in their field and will give you actionable tools to position yourself as a professional writer in today’s competitive landscape.

The follow-up class in each module will give you a chance to share your work and get valuable feedback.

It’s about deciding who you are as a writer and how you present yourself to the world—how you build an audience, create connections, speak with confidence and authenticity, and establish your personal brand.

This is more than a course about posting on social media; it’s about seeing the Internet as your platform and using it to showcase the best of who you are. It’s about giving back, connecting authentically, and embracing endless opportunities with confidence and clarity. We’ll show you how.

Important Note: This class has already started. If you register now you will receive a link to the recordings portal for the previous dates.

Here’s how the workshops will unfold.

We’ve designed the class so that each module builds on the ones before. You can pick and choose, signing up for select topics if you want, but we encourage you to take advantage of the entire series.
