Step into a snow globe world of story, sparkle, and screenwriting magic. Twelve Months of Christmas is a one-of-a-kind, year-long creative experience that guides you from the first glimmer of a holiday idea to a polished, pitch-ready Christmas screenplay ready to sell and produce.
Whether you're writing your first holiday rom-com or crafting your next yuletide classic, this course offers the structure, support, and festive spirit to carry you through the seasons. Taught by industry professionals month by month, you’ll shape a logline as magical as mistletoe, build a concept page that sparkles bright as tinsel, and write and revise a screenplay until it balances just the right sentiment, humour, and holiday heart.
You’ll also work directly with producers and authors who specialize in Christmas films — the minds behind the warm-hearted stories on Hallmark, Amazon, Netflix, Lifetime, and more. Through live workshops, peer feedback, and expert insights, you’ll gain not only a finished script but the confidence to share it with the industry.
This is more than a class. It’s a creative pilgrimage — wrapped in community, mentorship, and a touch of Christmas magic. Who knows? Your initial spark might be THE Christmas movie of 2027!

What You'll Receive:
This year-long experience includes 22 instructional classes led by industry professionals, guiding you step-by-step from concept to pitch.
Alongside each class, you’ll also participate in 23 small group sessions, where you’ll meet with a consistent circle of 4–5 fellow writers. These peer groups offer accountability, encouragement, and space to workshop ideas in a supportive setting.
Not only will you gain mastery of the core elements of craft, a disciplined writing practice, and the confidence to call yourself a holiday screenwriter, you’ll also develop the clarity, momentum, and skills to create a completed screenplay.

How The Year Unfolds
This course is structured across four seasons, providing a step-by-step roadmap that turns your Christmas idea into a market-ready screenplay — with producer access built in.
Winter: Development & Industry Alignment
January – March
Writers begin by identifying their core concept, shaping a strong logline, and building a compelling concept page. These foundational materials are designed with the marketplace in mind — what producers want and what sells. Early sessions include live feedback from producers and a look into the current holiday content landscape.
Spring: Structure, Character & Story World Building
April – June
With concept materials locked in, writers move into outlining and development. We explore the story beats of successful Christmas films, develop engaging characters, and build the emotional arc. By the end of Spring, each writer will have a compelling outline for drafting their screenplay.
Summer: First Draft & Rewrites
July – September
This is the writing phase. Writers complete a full first draft, then receive peer and mentor feedback before moving into guided revisions. Two full writing rounds are built into the course to ensure each script grows stronger with every pass.
Fall: Pitch Preparation & Producer Access
October – December
In the final quarter, writers polish their screenplays, create pitch materials, and participate in mock pitch sessions to refine delivery. The course culminates in live pitch opportunities with Christmas-focused producers. By year’s end, every participant will have a completed script — and know how to pitch it—and who knows? Your screenplay might already be headed to production.

Please note: Our classes are designed specifically for live participation, so your attendance is important. If you need to miss a class for any reason, you’ll receive a passcode-protected link to watch the recordings after the course is over.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A full cash refund will be made (less processing fees of 7.5%) if you notify us at least two weeks before the start of the entire series. If less than two weeks, the refund can be applied as a credit for another future class. This applies to all payment methods, including payment plans.
Due to the commitment required for the Year-Long Class, no refunds will be made after the class starts. The only exception is for family or medical circumstances that make it impossible to continue. In that event, you will be refunded a pro-rated amount, based on the number of class sessions taken. A 7.5% transaction fee will also apply to the amount due to you.
If a student violates the trust or privacy outlined in the Virtuous Circle, Story Summit reserves the right to dismiss that student from the class and provide a refund pro-rated based on the number of classes taken. There will be no transaction fee refund.
Please note that all refunds are processed within a 30-day window.
