About the Event
Please join us for a special discussion of Chasing the Goddess: A Romantic Thriller Cat & Mouse Heist, the latest book by Bill Froehlich.
In Chasing the Goddess, Bill Froehlich delivers a gripping romantic thriller that probes the dangerous nature of trust and desire. Independent insurance investigator Nathalie Seeger finds her career, family, and heart pushed to the edge when a major jewelry heist entangles her with three suspects, each representing a different and escalating threat. As millions in stolen jewels and priceless art fuel obsession and temptation, Nathalie is drawn into a charged romance with one man she may not be able to trust, while a shocking family secret shatters her understanding of what is real. Blending suspense, passion, and psychological intrigue, Chasing the Goddess explores how trust binds and betrays us, forcing Nathalie to choose a side when loyalty, love, and survival collide, proving that when everything is on the line, trust is the most dangerous gamble of all.
Bill Froehlich is an acclaimed film and television producer, director, and storyteller whose career spans decades in Hollywood. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he studied at Ithaca College, where he was mentored by legendary writer Rod Serling and worked at the campus radio station alongside future media leaders. After graduating, Bill moved to Hollywood and began his career in the Universal Studios mailroom, using every opportunity to write, build relationships, and learn the business from the inside out. His initiative led to an early producing credit on an independent film starring Katharine Hepburn, setting the stage for a prolific career. Bill has since worked with icons such as Paul Newman, George Clooney, Anthony Hopkins, Jack Lemmon, and Ron Howard. His documentary Circuit, created with Paul Newman, is widely regarded as one of the greatest racing films ever made. Bill also directed the cult classic Return to Horror High and played a key role in the success of landmark television series, including Mike Hammer, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and MacGyver, which he helped transform into a cultural phenomenon.
In this lively discussion with Bill, we'll learn his motivations for writing the book and her path to publishing.
