What a Character

Weekend Intensive

the-100-foot-journey-1200-1200-675-675-c

Classic stories all have one thing in common: characters who make us feel by identifying with their flaws, idiosyncrasies and triumphs. Crafting memorable characters takes insight, observation and the willingness to set yourself aside and let them take the lead. In this weekend intensive, you’ll learn how to build characters layer by layer throughout your story, reveal their transformation through the obstacles they face, and add depth to your writing by turning the setting and other elements into characters of their own.
